What the contact form collects

When you send an enquiry through the form we collect: your name, email, the related place or page (if you fill it in), the topic (if you fill it in), your message and the time sent. This is stored privately in the content management system, can be accessed only by the site administrators, and is used only to reply to you or to check the information you reported.

The notification email sent to administrators contains none of your details. The private inbox is the primary record of contact.

What we do not collect

• No passport numbers, card details or payment information
• No user accounts and no advertising or behaviour tracking
• We do not sell or pass enquiry data to third parties

Spam protection

Submission rates are limited using a temporarily stored, hashed IP address. We do not keep raw IP addresses, and a hidden honeypot field filters bots.

Cookies

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Administrators may have content-management login cookies only while logged in to the back end. Maps load only after you press the button, are served by OpenStreetMap, and do not request your location.

Retention and deletion

Messages stay in the private inbox until an administrator deletes them. You can ask us to review or delete your messages by email. The final retention period will be published when the site fully launches. Backups are held by the hosting provider under its own policy.
